Invitations to SPECTRUM events are sent out via email (using the Bcc facility to ensure privacy). One officer maintains the Contact List for invitations as a discrete document (not for distribution) with respect for the special privacy needs of its members.
There are usually between 30 - 60 gay people at SPECTRUM functions (easy to get lost in the group if you want to), and on other occasions we invite friends and family members to join us at special functions, e.g. Annual Rainbow Dinner, art auctions.
While SPECTRUM specialises in celebrations for our own GLBTI members, it also shares in and supports other gay, lesbian, bisexual, transgender and intersex functions run by associate organisations.
Further questions you may have about membership may be answered on the SPECTRUM Frequently Asked Questions page.
